iPad Air and iPad mini set to hit Indian market on December 7, 2013 Technology
Since Apple has released it’s next generation iPad Air and iPad Mini, it was always buzz about when they are going to launch it in India. Finally, Apple Inc. has now finally released the date to launch ipad air and ipad mini to Indian market. Apple will start selling iPad Air and iPad mini to indian market from December 7.
The prices of the Apple ipad air and ipad mini has not been officially announced by apply, but some authentic sources has revealed the date for iPad mini will be around 28,900INR which is 16GB Wi-Fi with Ratina Display. While iPad Air model will be available with a price tag of Rs 35,900. Both the models will be available in Indian stores from 7th December onwards.
The basic features of iPad Air is 9.7-inch Retina display with 1536 x 2048p resolution and new slim design and thiner and light-weight. It weighs 453 grams and is 20% thinner and 28% lighter than the fourth generation iPad. The Apple’s tablet runs on A7 chipset and has got 1GB of RAM, 5 MP autofocus rear camera and 1.2MP front facing camera for FaceTime.
Apple has introduced the new iPad Air and iPad Mini to India soon after Google launhed the second-generation Nexus 7 tablet in the country. So, current buzz is that Apple will be in direct competition with Google in tablet market. The Nexus 7 from Google is priced at Rs 20,000INR for the 16GB variant which is very competitive to Apple’s iPad.
For these tablets, Apple promises up to 10 hours of surfing the web on Wi-Fi, and up to 9 hours of surfing the web using cellular data network.
