Honda Mobilio Price and Launch Date (Release Date ) in India – Honda’s 7 Seater MPV Automobile News
Honda Mobilio probably going to be India’s first MPV for Honda is about to show-cased in 2014 Auto Expo . It is expected that Honda will Launch Honda Mobilio in mid- 2014. Earlier it was expected that Honda Mobilio Launch Date will be around February 2014, but the now, sources confirmed the news about middle of 2014. Honda Mobilio is built on the brio platform and after the Brio and Amaze, it is the third car of Honda to built on brio Platform.
It is forseen that Honda is trying to catch a bigger market in Indian Auto Industry and hence it is on the trail of more models and variants in India. After the hatchback version brio, Honda launched it’s first diesel Car for India i.e. Honda Amaze and after that it is going to release it’s first MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) in India i.e. Honda Mobilio. Anyhow, Honda Mobilio is not the only buzz creating news for Honda in India. Launch of New Honda City in India is also another big launch for Honda in India. Honda is about to launch both Petrol and Diesel version of Honda Mobilio in India.
Honda Mobilio was originally manufactured for Indonesia and was it was first unveiled in Indonesian Motor Show in September 2013. After the success availed in Indonesia, Honda is trying for experimenting the MPV market in India and hence hoping for the success for Mobilio as they got for Amaze. For India, Honda Mobilio Price willbe starting at Rs. 9 Lakh and above depending upon the model and varient of Mobilio. Honda is always praised for the stylish looks, and the same is true for Mobilio. It is with a stylish look with very impressive exteriors and Interiors. Mobilio will have a thick chrome bar placed in between the small honeycomb grille with some space for the chrome furnished Honda logo at the center of the bar. This creates just awsome look for Mobilio.
Built on the brio platform, Honda Mobilio will have 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel and 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine varient. Mobilio will have a five-speed manual transmission. The petrol engine will be capable to generate a power of 116.3bhp at the rate of 6600rpm and a torque of 146Nm at the rate of 4800rpm while the diesel variant will have 98.6bhp of maximum power at 3600rpm and a peak torque of 200Nm at 1750rpm.
With the launch of a 7seater MPV, Honda will directly compete against the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. Etriga has already gained a good visibility in market but it still needs to give a very tough fight to Mobilio, as the Honda is always preferable amngst the style lover crowd. This is the reason Indian car lovers are eagerly waiting for the Mobilio.
