4th Generation Honda City Diesel Variant – Price and Release Date in India Automobile News
Honda is about to launch the 4th Generation model of it’s most successful model Honda City in January 2014. The 4th generation Honda City will have the Diesel Variant along with it’s petrol variant in the January 2014. Officials from Honda have confiremd the news about launching the the New Honda City in 2014.
Honda is trying to regain the dominance that it had earlier in the premium car segment, with the unveiling of the 4th Generation new Honda City. With the Launch of Honda Amaze, Honda had broken the pathway and launched it’s diesel car in India. Now again with new version of Honda City, Honda is launching it into both Petrol and Diesel variant and continues to cover the market share into diesel cars.
The 4th generation of Honda City is built on the same platform as the upcoming new-generation it’s Jazz. Following is the Comparison of specification of old Honda City and new Honda City.

The new Honda City will have both 1.5-liter diesel and petrol engine variants. The diesel engine is almost similar to the diesel engine in Honda Amaze, but this engine might have higher power and less noisy. The petrol version of new Honda City is having updated i-VTEC engine.
Honda has already started accepting a bookings for new Honda City both in diesel and petrol variant. The ex-showroom price for Petrol variant is ranging between Rs. 7.5 Lakh to 12 Lakh and Honda is most likely to start distributing the newer version from January 2014. So let’s wait for the all new Honda City on Indian Roads.
