2014 Ford Mustang New version about to Launch in India – Price and Launch Date Automobile News
Ford Motor Co. is launching the new version of its iconic sports car on 12th December, 2013 Thursday, at the New York World’s Fair. The new redesigned model of Ford Mustang will be simultaneously unveiled in six cities – Dearborn, Mich., Shanghai, Sydney, Barcelona, New York and Los Angeles on this Thursday.
It’s the 50th anniversary of the Ford’s legendary sport car, and as a part of this 50th anniversary, Ford is planning to launch the new redesigned model of Ford Mustang in India by 2014. The buzz has started about the Launch of new model of Ford Mustang in India as soon as the Ford has Launched the sports car in six cities in the world. The first model of Ford Mustang was released in April 17, 1964, and now onthe 50th anniversary of the legendary sports car, Ford is currently putting efforts in developing a right hand version of Ford Mustang in India.
Now, as It’s officially confirmed that the new redesigned model of Ford Mustang will have a right hand drive model and will be available in Europe and Australia, it is most likely to launch the model in India. Ford has mentioned that the next generation Mustang with the redesigned model will be built on a global platform. The next generation will see major changes such as redesign of the platform for right-hand drive, re-positioning of key component from the engine bay and front axle to package the new steering rack and steering column. It is most likely that Ford will Launch the Mustang in the end of 2014, i.e. approximately Indian Market can expect the Mustang on road by after the month of August in 2014.
The next generation Ford Mustang will be priced competitively in India as compared to the Global market pricing. It is not an official announcement, but the authentic sources has revealed that Next Generation Ford Mustang will be prices around Rs. 15 lakh to 38 lakh, depending upon the variants of the redesigned model of Ford Mustang.
